The City of Los Angeles has found the Woodland Hills Country Club development application for 223 apartments and 175 single-family homes “incomplete, inconsistent, and non-compliant” and put it on hold. On March 17, 2026, Planning provided the subject letter to inform the applicant of the following: The project remains inconsistent with the objective standards of the “Mixed-Income Housing Developments Along Commercial Corridors,” housing streamlining program as provided for in the table. As filed, the project does not qualify for ministerial, streamlined processing. The project remains inconsistent and non-compliant with the Zoning Code. The project filing remains incomplete.” The city stated that in the event that all of the requested materials are not provided within 60 days of the date of the letter, the department may initiate termination of the case file.
