Tired of bumping along Topanga Canyon Blvd. and hitting manhole cover after manhole cover? According to Caltrans engineer Jason Salinas, the problem should be resolved soon. Salinas said they started redoing Topanga in September but couldn’t finish the paving in the winter as the asphalt cools down too fast. Construction is ongoing on the state highway, and they should start repaving and adding another layer in a month.
Until then, keep playing dodge ball on the boulevard but drive safely!
