The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department has released crime statistics for April 2025 and the year-to-date. No homicides have been reported for 2025, but there were four rapes reported (none in April).There were two reports in April of aggravated assault (five to date) and one report of domestic assault in April which was the only one year-to-date. However there were eight domestic violence misdemeanors this year. There were no robberies in April but three for the year, including one with a weapon and two that were strong-armed.
Burglaries led the statistics with 10 in April (eight residents and two business) and 30 for 2025 so far. There were five grand thefts reported and two vehicle burglaries in April with 63 total for the year so far. Thankfully no arson attempts were reported and only one grand theft auto.
There was one swatting report for the year, where singer Nicki Minaj was the target at her Calabasas home.
