A second affordable housing complex is slated for the west end of Ventura Blvd, according to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
Samuelian Group has filed plans for the construction of a new, seven-story building with 96 units and 63 parking spaces at 23022 Ventura Blvd.
This is a larger building than zoning allows, but since all apartments, except the manager’s unit, are designated low- and moderate-income housing, it qualifies for the incentives.
This is directly east of another affordable housing project currently under construction at 23036 Ventura Blvd. from Daylight Community Development.
The contemporary podium-style building, to be named Valleris on Ventura, is being designed by DFH Architects.
Samuelian Group is planning other affordable housing developments throughout Los Angeles.
