Schneerson.
The evening explored the shared values reflected in the teachings of America’s Founding Fathers and the Rebbe, emphasizing faith in a Creator as a cornerstone of American liberty, morality, and civic life. Participants reflected on how these principles continue to guide and strengthen the nation.
Musical entertainment was provided by the acclaimed Cattus Quartet. Featured speakers included Calabasas Mayor James Bozajian, Calabasas City Councilman Ed Albrecht, Calabasas City Manager Kindon Meik, Former Calabasas Mayor Fred Gaines, Lieutenant Adam Meik of the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, and Rabbi Eli Friedman, Director of Chabad of Calabasas.
Among those in attendance were Calabasas City Councilman David Shapiro and Calabasas City Councilwoman Alicia Weintraub, underscoring the broad community support for the event.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Staff Sergeant Jack Moran, a veteran of General George S. Patton’s Third Army who fought in the Battle of the Bulge and participated in the liberation of Buchenwald concentration camp.
Guests departed with a renewed sense of optimism and gratitude, inspired by the enduring values of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. Organizers expressed hope that America will continue to serve as a beacon of liberty, decency, and moral leadership for generations to come. The program highlighted the belief that the principles championed by both America’s founders and the Rebbe remain essential to securing a bright future for the nation and for the world.
