The world is coming to Los Angeles for a “Summer of Soccer” and I want to make sure families have a chance to be part of the excitement right here in our own backyard. Starting this Friday, come “Kick it in the Park” as we stream select matches live on the big screen at Warner Center Park in Woodland Hills and Lanark Park in Canoga Park. Throughout June and July, bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and picnic goodies as you cheer for your favorite team. Each event will have a variety of local food vendors, giveaways while supplies last, and family friendly activities such as youth soccer clinics in partnership with Angel City Football Club and arts activities in partnership with LA City Department of Cultural Affairs. In addition, my team will be raffling off soccer balls at select games.
