BuildAbility is hosting their inaugural fundraiser “Pioneering Possibilities” on October 24 to support their programs for individuals with disabilities.
BuildAbility’s mission is to inspire the disabled to dream beyond limits and equip them to turn those dreams into reality.
They work with those with intellectual disabilities, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, fragile X Syndrome, anxiety, epilepsy, ADD and Angelman Syndrome.
BuildAbility has been at the forefront of creating a world where individuals with disabilities are empowered to shape their own futures. Their goals of fostering personal growth, promoting community engagement, ensuring quality, and building sustainability, enable them to make a lasting impact on individuals and the communities with which we connect.
They work on independent living skills, employment services, community integration and skills-building in their behavior day program.
BuildAbility continues to lead the charge in celebrating diversity, amplifying talents, and building partnerships, to break down barriers and build a future of limitless possibilities.
Their 2025-2028 Strategic Plan pushes them forward in their commitment to excellence through strengthening program infrastructure, expanding service availability, and enhancing quality and sustainability.
The Pioneering Possibilities fundraiser will help underwrite these efforts. It will be held at The Autry Museum, 4700 Western Heritage Way, Griffith Park from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and will include food, drinks, entertainment, live music and an auction.
