The San Fernando Valley’s favorite Independence Day tradition returns! Now in their 50th year, Valley Cultural Foundation – in partnership with Los Angeles City Councilmember Bob Blumenfield – proudly presents Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s July 4th Extravaganza.
This free, family-friendly celebration brings the community together for an unforgettable evening of live music, food, and one of the most spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the West Valley sky on Thursday, July 4, at Warner Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills.
This annual event draws thousands from across the San Fernando Valley for an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, community spirit, and one of the best fireworks shows in Southern California. The celebration starts at 6 pm with a live concert from Strange Days, a tribute to the Doors, followed by a dazzling, professionally produced fireworks display at approximately 9 pm.
Strange Days is a worldwide touring Doors concert experience. Formed and based in Los Angeles, Strange Days captures the magic and the mystery of The Doors in their prime.
By combining vintage instruments with the latest technology, Strange Days offers both an authentic on-stage look and an unmistakable studio album sound. The result is truly a one-of-a-kind show that has thrilled audiences around the world.
Strange Days has had the honor of having Doors guitarist Robby Krieger join them onstage numerous times. Rarely, if ever, do tribute artists get to play with the actual legends to which they pay homages.
