“The Valley’s Most Neighborly Town”Kicks Off Centennial With Mural

Granada Hills, the “Valley’s Most Neighborly Town,” will kick off its centennial celebrations with the dedication of a historic mural depicting its evolution from 1913 to the present.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 26, at 12 noon at the Frontier building, 10684 Encino Avenue, at the corner of Encino and Chatsworth Street.

Granada Hills Honorary Mayor John Ciccarelli and Honorary Centennial Chairperson Councilman John Lee will host the festivities, sponsored by the Granada Hills Business Improvement District. 

The official centennial celebration will be held in April, 2026, but a variety of public and invitational events are planned for the coming year. For more information  on the mural and other upcoming events visit granadahills100.com.
