The unforgettable and amazing experience of Stomp is coming to the Soraya.
The troupe of Stomp uses everything except conventional percussion instruments to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. You’ll hear music made with matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps and more.
The percussion group originated in Brighton, England, using the body and ordinary objects to create a physical theatre performance using rhythms, acrobatics and pantomime.
Stomp will take the stage at the Soraya on Saturday, January 18 at 3 pm and 8 pm, and Sunday, January 19, at 3 pm.
The Soraya is located on the campus of CSUN at 18111 Nordhoff Street, Northridge. For tickets visit thesoraya.org or call (818) 677-3000.
