The annual Motor4Toys, created by Dustin Troyan of Supercar Sundays, will take place this Sunday, December 8, at Pierce College.
“Motor4Toys revolves around the wonderful and generous car community,” said Troyan, “We are pleased to be part of such an amazing community that has made this one of the most popular events of the season. Our goal this year is to collect and distribute over 100,000 toys!”
According to Troyan, the event is dedicated to a simple idea – helping as many disadvantaged children as possible during the holiday season. 100% of all toys and funds collected are donated; there are no salaries associated with the all-volunteer, non-profit Motor4Toys Charitable Foundation.
The presenting sponsor of the event is Porsche Woodland Hills, and many of the holiday drives were held there until the event outgrew the space and moved to Pierce College, where the Supercar Sundays are held.
Bring a toy or a donation as admission and see all the amazing collectible cars, fun cars, vintage cars and new cars on display.
This year Motor4Toys Foundation has three people that will each match up to $20,000. “If you can donate, help us hit that first $20,000 goal. If we do we instantly have another $60,000, It doesn’t matter if it is $1.00 or $10 or $20 or… our cash goal this year is $150,000 to buy toys to help children in need,” said Troyan.
