Friends of the Woodland Hills Library will hold a large book sale on Friday, May 30, from 9:30 am to 4 pm and Saturday, May 31, from 9:30 am to 3 pm. Pre-sale for Friends of the Library is Thursday, May 29, from 3 to 7 pm. A large selection of children’s and adult fiction in hardback, trade and mass market paperbacks for 50 cents to $2 are available. Non-fiction books, in an unbelievably wide variety of subjects, are $1 to $2. Other items include cookbooks, DVDs, LP, vinyl, and CDs. All children attending receive a free book.
Woodland Hills Library is at 22200 Ventura Boulevard, Woodland Hills. Friends’ membership is $15 a year (individual) and $ 20 a year (family). All proceeds benefit the Woodland Hills Library.
