Woodland Hills Cub Scout "Popcorn King" Beats Sales Record

Woodland Hills student and Cub ScoutBenny, aka “The Popcorn King” is a determined young entrepreneur! He set out to beat the Western Los Angeles County Council popcorn sales record of $15,500 and smashed it, raising $20,022 to support his pack’s activities. 

Despite hot weather and lots of rejection, he put in the work from storefront to storefront and door-to-door to help every scout enjoy a great season. 

Benny is part of Pack 175  in Woodland Hills, a family-oriented pack that emphasizes fun while supporting scouts developing leadership skills, life skills, outdoor skills, and being responsible community members – and has  been doing it for over 50 years and counting.
