Ahang Mirshojae of Calabasas pleaded not guilty this week to murdering her husband, Woodland Hills doctor Hamid Mirshojae. The physician was gunned down outside his medical clinic at Topanga Canyon Blvd. and Oxnard Street. Ahang Mirshojae allegedly hired Evan Hardman, a former security guard at the clinic, to kill her husband. According to police, the murder-for-hire plot stemmed from her jealousy after the doctor remarried and had a child. She reportedly offered Hardman $400,000 for the job. In August 2024 a masked gunman approached Dr. Mirshojae in the parking lot of the clinic and shot him point blank, and then ran back into the residential neighborhood behind. Both Ahang Mirshojae and Hardman have been in jail since their 2024 arrests.
