Westfield’s $250 million renovation of Topanga is bringing a whole host of new tenants to the west valley.
In addition to the 12-screen AMC Theatre, the entertainment wing that replaced the old Sears building will soon boast a Pinstripes Italian-American bistro and bowling alley.
A new food hall, Topanga Social, will open this spring with 25 specialty food and drink venues, the indoor/outdoor Margarita Garden and outposts of some of L.A.’s hottest pop-ups, such as Maneatingplant, I Love Micheladas and Shrimp Daddy.
The 5,000-foot food hall will have three full-service bars, multi-vendor food ordering, pickup, delivery, a private event space and a “speakesy” style secret arcade.
Eateries scheduled to open include Amboy Quality Burgers, Burrata House, a candy shop from Candystore.com, Dtown Pizza, Dumpling Monster, Fat Sal’s, Hey Hey Boba, Jay Bird’s Chicken, Katsu Sando, Mad Lab Coffee, Mini Kabob, Oakberry, Pearl Champagne Bar, Poke Me, Primo’s Donuts, Rock & Reilly’s, Temaki by Seaweed Handroll Bar, Salab BBQ, The Pie Room, Truffle Brothers Market and Wanderlust Creamery.
Earl Enterprises, which oversees marketing strategies and operations for 200 restaurants, including Planet Hollywood, Buca di Beppo, Bertucci’s, Earl of Sandwich and more, has partnered with Westfield to create Topanga Social.
“While Westfield Topanga has long been a top destination in the Valley with an expansive retail offering, this partnership with Earl Enterprises allows us to seamlessly blend entertainment, world-class dining, and cutting-edge technology within a highly-curated environment, creating a culinary mecca unlike anything else in the country,” says Geoff Mason, Executive Vice President, Operating Management and Development at URW. “Topanga Social will help us continue to deliver an exceptional experience as well as introduce some of the most loved global and local brands to residents and visitors alike. We can’t wait to have everyone join us and enjoy the vibrant scene we’ve created at Westfield Topanga.”
Joining Topanga’s luxury wing will be French fashion houses Dior and Hermes, designer Valentino and handcrafted furniture store Arhaus.
Westfield began the renovation and addition of the new wing in 2021, and construction on several areas is still ongoing.
