West Hills Hospital has reached out to the community during this time of uneasiness and continual change. COVID has had significant effects on the healthcare industry as whole and the hospital is working off of limited supplies. Their statement issued Monday said, “Be assured West Hills Hospital remains a resource to the community we serve and through our preparations we are confident that we will continue being a resource during this heightened period. With that being said, supplies and needs are changing daily and with the decrease of manufacturing as a whole, due to the virus, we are asking our community for help.” They are currently sourcing masks, specifically N95 surgical masks. They are also happy to entertain additional donated items for repurpose throughout the hospital. Due to healthcare protocols there are several steps that must be completed prior to accepting a donation. If you or your organization would like to make a donation to West Hills Hospital please contact Elena Johnson at Elena.Johnson@hcahealthcare.com or (818) 825 8658.
