The Tarzana Neighborhood Council in partnership with Volunteers Cleaning Communities, Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s office and the West Valley Warner Center Chamber of Commerce has organized a Tarzana Clean-Up Day on Saturday, January 27, from 8 to 10 am (weather permitting). This is a 2-hour event to pick up litter along Reseda Blvd. and Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana. Supplies will be provided, including grabbers, gloves, collection bags and VCC’s signature yellow vests loaned to volunteers during the event. This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors, get good exercise, and help make Tarzana a cleaner and more environmentally-friendly community. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign up tarzananc.org. You won’t be turned away if you haven’t signed up in advance. Volunteers can park in the Gelson’s/Home Goods parking lot on Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street. Look for the Tarzana Neighborhood Council’s sign-in table on the corner of Reseda Blvd & Clark St.
