A local veteran received congressional recognition at a recent Wings Over Wendy’s meeting. Dr. Bob Eisenhart, 87, a U.S. Army veteran of the Cold War, received rare congressional recognition from U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman. Eisenhart was presented with a commemorative American flag that had flown over the U.S. Capitol, accompanied by a framed Certificate of Authentication. The honor recognizes his outstanding contributions to Wings Over Wendy’s. Over the past six years he has arranged more than 300 presentations—both video and in person—every Monday morning without fail. These programs provide entertainment, education, and enjoyment for fellow military veterans and others connected to the U.S. military.
