John Paul Thornton

Valley JCC will honor award-winning artist and art historian John Paul Thornton at a special in-person celebratory event on May 20, beginning at 7 pm. This signature event will take place at the Rose Goldwater Community Center, 21710 Vanowen Street, Canoga Park, at Westfield Topanga.

The evening’s festivities will include a curated gallery of Thornton’s artwork, his personalized video presentation, a silent auction, and an opportunity to bid on one of the artist’s own paintings. There will be time to have a conversation with the artist and enjoy delicious catered decadent desserts, wine and a professional coffee bar.

The event fee is $65 per person; after April 30, $75.  A pre-event champagne toast to honor Thornton is an option and will begin at 6:30 pm for an additional $25 fee.

Register for the May 20 event, “An Evening With John Paul Thornton: From The Artist’s Studio,”  at ValleyJCC.org/Celebration.
