
The Valley Economic Alliance hosted their 31st annual Valley of the Stars awards gala on April 30, presented by Mission Valley Bank. This event recognizes and celebrates the exemplary businesses, people, and organizations positively impacting the economic vitality of the San Fernando Valley. Comedian and former weathercaster Fritz Coleman emceed the event at the Universal Hilton, which had over 500 attendees. VEA board members presented the awards.
Micky Dolenz of the Monkees was the Entertainment Honoree. Mission-driven visionary Louise Oliver was the Humanitarian Honoree, and NBC4 journalist Carolyn Johnson was the Media Honoree. AI infrastructure leader DDN of Chatsworth was the Innovator Honooree and LAWA / Van Nuys Airport was the Community Building Honoree.
This annual fundraiser generates critical funds that support Alliance Business Assistance and Workforce Development Programs.
