A brazen daylight burglary shocked an Agoura neighborhood as the suspects ran out of the house and down the street, chased by a homeowner who saw them on his Ring camera.
Sunday morning at approximately 8:30 am the suspects broke into a Liberty Canyon home when the residents were on vacation. They are described as three Hispanic men in hoodies.
The homeowners believe that the burglary was an inside job, perhaps from someone doing work at the house.
They ran down the middle of the street and got into a getaway car parked a block away. They are still unidentified and on the loose.
On Saturday, three people were taken into custody after trying to break into a Woodland Hills home in the 5100 block of Campo Road. The suspects, wearing ski masks, claimed they were looking for someone in the neighborhood and then tried to illegally enter the home.
Officers arrived on the scene and the three were taken into custody. The homeowners called police again on Sunday around 3:30 pm, reporting a suspicious vehicle. After a chase LAPD took two more individuals into custody.
December saw a rash of residential burglaries and break-ins, and fed-up residents are demanding more action and patrols from local police and sheriff’s departments.
