Suspect  Arrested in Death of Jewish Protester

Early this morning police arrested Loay Abdelfattah Alnaji of Moorpark with the death of a Jewish protester at a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Westlake on November 5. Alnaji, a professor at Moorpark College, allegedly hit 69-year-old Paul Kessler on the side of the head, causing him to fall backward and sustain fatal injuries. Kessler was part of a pro-Israel group protesting opposite a Free Palestine rally. Alnaji was booked into the county jail and charged with involuntary manslaughter. His bail is set at $1 million.
