Shot Fired at the Commons Under Investigation

  • by

Deputies from Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station responded to a 911 call Sunday night at approximately 5:45 pm that shots had been fired at The Commons in Calabasas. According to Watch Commander Sergeant Callahan, they did find shell casings on the ground at the shopping center but there was no property damage. Despite rumors on social media that a car had been shot up, Callahan said they found no evidence of any car being shot. A report was filed and an investigation is pending. The Sheriff’s Department is looking through surveillance videos from the center. Anyone with information is urged to call the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station at (818)  878-1808.

Callahan also refuted rumors that shots were fired at Erewhon Market in Calabasas. No such incident occurred, he said.
