The Rotary Club of Woodland Hills is hosting its seventh annual Texas Hold ‘em Poker and Casino Nite Fundraiser on Saturday, November 18. This year’s fundraiser will be held at the Calabasas Civic Center Founders Hall, 220 Civic Center Drive in Calabasas.
“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and the monies raised are used to support many projects in our community,” said Jeff Stern, co-chair of the event. “In years past, our club has used the funds raised at the poker tournament to support Pacific Lodge Youth Services, Hope the Valley homeless outreach, Reseda Elementary and other local schools. We have contributed to projects to combat human trafficking, provided scholarships to local high school students and supported local food banks and shelters.”
“We would like to invite members of our community to attend this event which promises to be a fun evening in addition to helping us raise funds to continue our mission. Early bird tickets are $100 for poker and $75 for casino games. After October 27, ticket prices increase to $125 for poker and $85 for casino. There will be cash prizes as well as a silent auction.”
