Rock Throwing Suspect Arrested

  • by

LAPD has arrested 64-year old Edelidio David Wallace, who they accuse of throwing rocks or cement bricks through business windows in Woodland Hills and Canoga Park. Three stores in the 20900 block of Victory Blvd. were hit on Saturday, and four stores were hit on Topanga Canyon Blvd. on Monday night.

All rocks collected had “Glory” and “Pay Up” written on them. Several of the businesses were Jewish-owned and had mezuzahs on the door, and the incidents are thus being investigated as possible hate crimes.

Lucie Volotzky, owner of  Blissful Sleep on Topanga, who is also a candidate for State Senate, said this wasn’t their first problem. “We’ve been broken into and had money stolen. Now the  criminals are on the loose and the business owners are paying for it. My first worry is always the safety of my employees. Enough is enough!”  she said.
