Plans are underway for the Rams to build two year-round practice fields at the old Anthem property in Warner Center.
Currently the team practices at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks, and plays home games at So-Fi Stadium in Inglewood.
The Warner Center fields will be situated on the old parking lot off Canoga and Erwin. This is where the NFL team will practice, train and have offices.
The site will not be open to the public and thus is anticipated to have no traffic, noise or negative impacts on the surrounding community.
Rams owner Stan Kroenke purchased the Anthem property for $175 million in June 2022, following his purchase of the Promenade Mall earlier that year for $150 million. In December he purchased The Village at Westfield Topanga for $325 million. The Promenade Mall site was approved for a stadium, but the Kroenke organization has not yet released any plans for that site, though Rams COO Kevin Demoff said in a statement last June, “I think we’ve been very clear from the beginning of moving back that our goal was to find land in the San Fernando Valley to go do a major real estate development along with the practice facilities to give us another center of energy.”
