Local NABU Wines Wins Awards

  • by

Woodland Hills resident  Greg Barnett, along with his wife Janet and partner Jeff Bailey, recently won four gold and two silver medals for their NABU wines in their first competition “against the world” at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition 2024.

Established in 2012, NABU offers wines from Napa Valley to the Malibu Coast – including Blanc de Blanc, Chenin Blanc,  Sauvignon Blanc, Sparkling, Viognier, Syrah, Pinot, Cabernet and Port.

“NABU has been excited to be the only winery to produce wines from within the mountains and oceanside vineyards located in the lowlands of  Zuma to Topanga Canyon,” said Barnett.

All their wines are available by the bottle and the glass at their tasting room, located at 2649 Townsgate Road in Westlake Village. The tasting room offers wine tasting seven days a week, Sunday through Monday noon to 6 pm, Friday and Saturday noon to 11 pm. Both Greg and Janet were in the music business in the 1980’s, so there is live music Friday and Saturday from 8 pm to 11 pm  and Sunday at 3 pm.
