Superior Court Judge Joseph Brandolino this week denied a defense motion seeking dismissal of the murder charges against Calabasas resident Rebecca Grossman. In May Grossman was ordered to stand trial for the murder of Mark and Jacob Islander, whom she struck with her vehicle while they were in a Westlake Village crosswalk. At that hearing in May, Superior Court Judge Shellie Samuels said, “I cannot with a clear conscience dismiss the murder charges.”
