Drone footage shot inside the Promenade Mall and posted by Urbex Offlimits on Instagram shows the ongoing demolition of the old center. The mall is being torn down to make way for the new Rams Village that will be built on the site by the Kroenke Organization. The mixed-use development will feature residential, retail, parkland, and office uses, as well as plentiful open spaces and indoor entertainment venues. The mall opened as the Valley’s premier shopping destination in 1973, and boasted such retailers as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bullock’s Wilshire and Robinson’s, as well as iconic eateries such as The Magic Pan and Bob Burns.
