Clean Up Strike Force

Be part of a huge clean up effort in the North Valley and then party after!

Volunteers Cleaning Communities has scheduled a community clean up day on Saturday, September 17, from 8 to 10 am.

Over 100 volunteers are needed to help pick up litter for the 12-mile stretch on Devonshire Street between Topanga Canyon Blvd. and Sheldon Arleta Park.

Bring your own water and gloves; bags, grabbers and a t-shirt will be provided.

After the clean up, enjoy a celebration at the historic Oakridge Estate (18650 Devonshire) from 11 am to 2 pm.

In addition to a free ice cream social there will be family games, music, entertainment, food trucks, face painting, rock painting and balloon sculptures.

To register as a volunteer visit https://bit.ly/3uTs650. Upon registration you will be assigned a street, a volunteer partner and meeting place. You’ll then be cleaning the curb, sidewalk and planters of all litter.
