Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison took their roles on Yellowstone seriously – and bought an equestrian spread in Topanga. They paid just under $5 million for their new home, which was built in 1999 and previously owned by the late prominent real estate broker Jeff Hyland and his wife. The seller was Lori Hyland.
The sprawling property is securely tucked away behind a gated drive, on a near-10-acre parcel of pasture land.
The main stucco and terracotta house has four bedrooms and four baths in 4,300 square feet on two levels. There are three fireplaces and Brazilian cherry and travertine floors throughout. There is a double entry foyer with a sweeping wrought-iron staircase, formal living and dining, spacious family room and gourmet kitchen. There is a bookcase-lined library and master retreat with spa tub and steam shower.
There are fruit and olive trees on the grounds, along with a pool and spa with a loggia. The equestrian side includes a three-stall barn with tack and feed room, as well as a trio of corrals, riding arena and caretaker’s apartment.
On Yellowstone Bingham portrays the role of Walker — an ex-con-turned ranch hand. The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter has been on the show since season one, but became a series regular in season four.
Harrison, 33, made her debut in season three as trouble-making barrel racer Laramie. The granddaughter of the late Caroline Rose Hunt — a billionaire Texas oil heiress who was once the richest woman in America and owner of the Bel-Air Hotel — recently sold her custom hacienda-style home in Topanga Canyon for $3 million after a year of ownership.
