Hook Burger at 6201 Topanga Canyon Blvd. at Erwin has closed permanently. Employees of the restaurant indicated that it was a landlord dispute over rent. However, the Westlake Village Hook Burger closed up at the end of August as well.
Other tenants at the center said they believe Starbucks was taking over the location. Numerous calls to Starbucks District Manager Sabrina Supton went unanswered, though many believe the location is ideal for them with the built-in drive-through and proximity to Warner Center’s high rises. There is a new drive-through Starbucks just around the corner on Oxnard, but that has never stopped the coffee chain from expanding!
