Friends of the Woodland Hills Library Honored at City Hall

The Friends of the Woodland Hills Library were recognized this month at Los Angeles City Hall for their 50 years of service. The group provides extra monies for supplies, programs, even additional books. They raise funds through book sales during the year. Shown above from left are Ruth Huberman, Linnea Wren, Myrna Gordon, Lynna Dunn, Shannon Eichberg, Jeff Wulkan, Faith Stout  and Dennis Zine. Dunn told Valley News Group,  “It certainly spreads a positive message of how small local non-profit groups are appreciated in the communities they serve and are recognized and celebrated by the City’s governing board.”
