A free community town hall on October 6 will discuss the dangers of fentanyl.

“Fentanyl and the L.A. Overdose Epidemic” will be discussed by Sean Dinse, a 24-year veteran of LAPD and a Senior Lead Officer at the Topanga Station, and Peter Tulagan, a 26-year law enforcement veteran and street drug expert.

Topics to be covered include what fentanyl is, how to spot signs of use and how to spot signs of addiction.

The town hall from 6:30 to 8:30 pm will be held at St. Mel School’s O’Connor Center, 20874 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills.

The event is sponsored by candidate for U.S. Congress Lucie Volotzky.
