The San Fernando Valley’s favorite Independence Day tradition returns! Now in their 51st year, Valley Cultural proudly presents the Councilman Bob Blumenfield July 4th Extravaganza, sponsored by Councilman Blumenfield and season sponsor and July 4th sponsor the Gaspar family.
This free, family-friendly celebration brings the community together for an unforgettable evening of live music, food, and one of the most spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the West Valley sky on Saturday, July 4, at Warner Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills.
The event draws over 40,000 people to the park. Thousands more tune in to view and listen from neighboring residences and community areas. There are over 15 food trucks on hand along with arts and crafts vendors and local businesses promoting and selling their goods.
The concert at 6:30 pm that evening will feature Doctor Wu with the music of Steely Dan. “Reelin’in the Years,” “Peg,” “Hey Nineteen,” “Dirty Work” and more will be performed by the 12-piece L.A.-based powerhouse group.
Emerging artist Marshmallow Blowtorch will take the stage at 5:30 pm. The dazzling, professionally produced fireworks display will light the sky at approximately 9 pm.
Come early to get a space and picnic in the park. Parking is available in adjacent lots and fees are a donation to Valley Cultural Foundation.
