Toll Brothers has released renderings of what they have planned for their newest project at the corner of Canoga Avenue and Victory Blvd.
Currently on site is a 1960’s-era brick building that used to house the corporate offices of cartoon-producer Filmation. The building was closed after the 1994 earthquake due to retrofitting requirements.
Toll Brothers is planning an eight-story building designed “beyond the uninspired cube or block design.” It includes an angled “sheared” wing that opens into an atrium on the second floor.
The project will feature 276 apartments, a percentage of which will be low income, and 20 of which will be set aside for very low income households. There will be 4,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial and parking space.
Toll has had two informational presentations to the Woodland Hills Warner Center Neighborhood Council, but has yet to submit plans to the City of Los Angeles for entitlements.
