LAPD has released a video, shot by another driver, of a car driving erratically on Topanga Canyon Blvd. August 3 around 1 am. The driver of the white Acura sedan was traveling north and weaving in and out of lanes and between cars before sideswiping another vehicle at Parthenia Street. He hit a BMW, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a pole. The driver of the BMW was taken to the hospital with severe injuries while the Acura fled the scene. Police have released the video in hopes of identifying the suspect. Anyone with information should call Officer Reyes (818) 644-8114. The City of Los Angeles has a standing reward of $25,000 for information that solves hit-and-runs.
