Do Good – Feel Good – For Under $10

  • by
Homeless

You can help a victim of domestic violence or a homeless person this holiday, with a donation to the San Fernando Valley Bar Association’s “Blanket the Homeless” program. For 25 years – and 50,000 blankets later – they have been donating warm, quality blanket to domestic violence and homeless shelters here in the valley. Founder of the initiative Mark Blackman told Valley News Group, “We don’t need actual blankets. We have a wonderful supplier back east who sells and ships the blankets to us for just $7.50. For $30 you can basically keep four people warm this very cold winter.” To donate send checks payable to VCLF of the SFVBA, 20750 Ventura Blvd., Suite 104, Woodland Hills CA 91364
