Dale Surowitz, CEO of Los Angeles Jewish Health, will receive the Humanitarian Award at The Valley Economic Alliance’s 30th Anniversary Valley of the Stars Awards Gala presented by Mission Valley Bank.
The Humanitarian Award is presented to an individual or organization promoting human welfare in areas such as, but not limited to, hunger, healthcare, homelessness, and poverty mitigation.
With more than 35 years of leadership as CEO of several successful hospitals and healthcare organizations in the San Fernando Valley, Surowitz joined Los Angeles Jewish Health in 2020, driven by a deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Recognizing a critical gap in the provision and coordination of senior care across Los Angeles, he was inspired to uphold and expand the organization’s legacy of excellence, compassion, and quality care for all those it serves.

This annual fundraiser generates critical funds that support regional business assistance and workforce development programs.
