A new, fully interactive store devoted to the latest hearing technology and sound innovation has opened at The Village in Woodland Hills.
Connect World of Hearing can improve your sound with state-of-the-art Sennheiser con-sumer electronics, or improve your hearing through top-rated hearing healthcare.
This is only the second such immersive clinic in the United States; the first is Connect World’s store in Irvine.
The store offers three rooms devoted to audiology.
A self-screening room lets you test your hearing on your own in eight minutes.
An audio lab offers 3-D scans for customized products, including hearing aids and cochlear implants.
The experience room lets family members experience what it’s like to suffer hearing loss and how hearing aids will help.
“Hearing connects us to our loved ones,” said Susie Grafman, manager of both stores. “The store is family-centered. We include family members in the discussion as they are also affected by a loved one’s hearing loss. Our totally immersive, engaging clinic can start you on the path to better hearing and connecting. We offer resources for both the individual and the family.”
The store’s “Impress Wall” allows customers to listen to videos, use noise plugs and try hearing aids.
At the Connect Hearing Center you can have a free hearing exam and consultation with a hearing care professional. They test for everything from hearing impairment and hearing loss to sudden deafness and tinnitus.
They offer hearing aid fittings, a free two-week trial and adaptation period, (with conditions) three years of free batteries, a three-year warranty and ongoing service.

It is open Monday to Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday 11 am to 7 pm.
