
In response to the catastrophic wildfires that have struck Maui, Van Nuys Airport tenant Clay Lacy Aviation is airlifting essential supplies to the island.
On August 15 Veriar Collins-Jenkins, Senior VP of Charter for Clay Lacy, oversaw the deployment of an Embraer Legacy 600 aircraft from Van Nuys directly to Maui with urgent items to aid victims of the disaster. Clay Lacy is working in conjunction with Merriman’s Hawaii.
The Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital immediately reached out to the Office of Emergency Services to offer any assistance they might need. CEO Saba Habis also reached out to the local hospitals to offer support. At this point, they have not received any transfers, but remain ready, should they need them.
