Community Learns About “Robotics to Recovery” at West Hills Hospital

  • by

Community leaders, students and hospital staff were invited to learn about “Robotics to Recovery” – the latest in health care technology – at West Hills Hospital.

The hospital hosted a technology expo early May where presentations and hands-on demonstrations showcased the latest robotic surgery innovations.

Hospital surgeons and staff shared their experiences and demonstrated how robotic surgery works and guided attendees through a hands-on demonstration with a robot.

Wes Hills Hospital has served the West Valley for more than 50 years with 450 physicians and a staff of more than 900. The hospital was the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Los Angeles County and also provides specialized care in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Outpatient Services, Cardiac Catheterization Labs and The Grossman Burn Center.
