Men and their cars… in this case men and their classic cars and getting them together for a worthy cause!
Classic Chevys of Southern California, based here in the valley, will hold their 42nd annual car show on Sunday, May 4 in Chatsworth.
The annual event brings classic car lovers together from all over Southern California to showcase their classic cars, models, hot rods, vintage autos and more.
The event includes the car show, a silent auction, vendors, food served all day and awards for the top cars.
Major sponsors include Rydell Chevrolet and Monty’s Steakhouse.
All proceeds from the day’s event benefit Rancho San Antonio Boys Home, which has been offering trauma-informed therapy to children and families since 1933.
The car show will be held on the grounds of the Rancho at 21000 Plummer Street. The show itself runs from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm with the awards show at 2 pm.
Classic Chevys of Southern California was founded in 1975 by Steve Kershuk, who got together a group of ‘55, ‘56 and ‘57 Chevy lovers to form a club. The non-profit now boasts over 100 members. For more information on the club and the upcoming car show visit classicchevysofsocal.com.
