The long defunct Catalina Yachts property at 21200 Victory Blvd. in Warner Center (at Variel) has been taken over by Cinespace Studios. The property was sold in 2022 for $61 million to Walton Street Capital, a private equity firm. New tenant Cinespace is a premier studio and service provider for film, TV and commercials. They have built a first-class boutique campus on 10 acres with six 18,000-square-foot stages with 30’ ceilings. One of the largest sound stage and facilities operators in the world, Cinespace offers 116 active stages in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, Wilmington and Studio Babelsberg in Germany – including a mix of state-of-the-art, heritage, and purpose-built stages.
