If you have never attended “The Day of the Horse” event, you are in for a fun-filled afternoon learning about the importance of the equestrian community to Chatsworth. If you have been to the event before, then you will experience some new additional activities that will make the event even more fun for you, your family and friends.
Everyone will have the opportunity to experience horsemanship demonstrations throughout the day, be treated to complimentary food (hamburger or hot dog and chips) and beverage (as it lasts), learn how to line dance, enjoy our theater showing Western movies made in Chatsworth, and choose from various activities like horseshoes, cornhole, painting a wooden horse, pin the tail on the donkey, decorate a stick horse, etc.
There is no registration for the event – just come and enjoy – Sunday, April 7, from 11 am to 3 pm at Ride On Therapeutic on Topanga Canyon Blvd. There is no parking at Ride On. There will be a shuttle from the north end of the Chatsworth Train Station (across the street from Ralph’s Market) that will take you to and from the event.
This free event is sponsored by the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council and Councilman John Lee’s office CD12.
