Chamber Hosts Calabasas Mayor’s Lunch

  • by

The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Mayor’s Luncheon on August 18 at the Calabasas Country Club. Calabasas Mayor David Shapiro, above, spoke to chamber members, city officials and dignitaries about the “great city of Calabasas.” He spoke to the city’s 50% reserves, its 42% permanent open space, the successful Senior Center and Library.

His main point was that his goal as mayor, and as councilman before that, was partnerships. He emphasized the partnerships the city has with the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, The Commons, the Calabasas Homeowners Organization, the Rotary Club and more.

Shapiro has served on the Calabasas City Council since January 25, 2012 and served as the City’s Mayor from 2014 to 2015 and a second term as Mayor 2018 to 2019 and is currently in his third term as Mayor 2020 to 2023.
