The Caring Calabasas Club at the Calabasas Senior Center recently collected three truck loads of pet-friendly products, including blankets, carriers, beds, collars and leashes.
The donations were given to Eastwood Ranch Foundation, a non-profit animal welfare and rescue organization in Agoura focusing on rescuing domestic animals from high-kill shelters and providing care until a forever home is found.
The Foundation works on behalf of any and all animal welfare causes by helping raise awareness, educating, campaigning/petitioning for animals throughout the United States and beyond. Their goal is to support abused, neglected and unwanted animals throughout the world.
Eastwood is currently constructing an animal shelter and adoption facility for dogs and cats. It will include treatment rooms, play areas and a dog-friendly swimming pool.
