There are many races on the June 2nd ballot. However, if you live in the West San Fernando Valley (specifically CD-3), one race matters more than any other: your City Councilmember.
Your City Councilmember is the person who most affects your daily lives. The sidewalk outside your home, the condition of your street, the safety of your neighborhood park, the response times of the LAPD and LAFD, the ease of opening a business. The decisions of your Councilmember determine whether the City works for you or makes everything harder.
As a taxpaying resident of the West Valley, you are not asking for favors. You are asking for what you already pay for: safe and accessible sidewalks, pothole-free streets, clean and secure parks, fully staffed public safety, efficient city services, policies that support business growth and good jobs, and a city that listens to you and responds promptly with thoughtful, well-considered solutions.
The next CD-3 council member must know how to identify issues affecting our community and deliver results with care. This role also demands someone who has the passion, energy, focus, and deep personal commitment to the people of this amazing, diverse community.
That commitment has defined my life. For more than 20 years, I have had the honor to work alongside impactful organizations that serve our Valley, including the YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club, Discovery Cube, West Valley/Warner Center Chamber, CSUN’s Nazarian School, and the Valley Cultural Foundation, where I’ve proudly supported Concerts in the Park for years. My commitment and work in the West Valley did not begin with this campaign, but rather through my belief that strong communities are built through service.
Professionally I built and led one of the largest customer service based companies in the Valley. I know what it takes to deliver for people, to solve problems quickly, and to be accountable when it matters.
The problems we face are real and complicated, but they are solvable with the right leadership. The West Valley is poised to lead Los Angeles into the future. Together we can build a city that works, a government that delivers to its people, and a community that thrives.
