The City of Calabasas has been honored with the prestigious 2022 Award for Overall Excellence at the NATOA Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. “We are committed to setting a high standard for effective communication to residents whether it be during an emergency, encouraging public engagement, or promoting some of our hometown favorite events,” said Calabasas Mayor Mary Sue Maurer. “It is an honor to be recognized for our efforts.”

NATOA is a national organization representing cities, towns and counties working in all arenas of local government telecommunications and regulatory advocacy. The Government Programming Awards (GPAs) are annual awards that recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies.
