Calabasas City Clerk Retires

Maricela Hernandez has retired as City Clerk for the City of Calabasas. She joined the City in 2012. Prior to this Hernandez served as City Clerk for the California community of Seaside, following 11 years as Clerk of the Board of the Directors for the Riverside Transit Agency.

She received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Public Administration from the University of Phoenix and is affiliated with the City Clerks Association of California and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

She is retiring from the City of Calabasas but has accepted a position as Clerk of the Board of Directors for San Diego Community Power.

Hernandez told Valley News Group,  “It has been great working with all of you during the past 11 plus years. I will miss you all, and I will always hold Calabasas near and dear. I wish the City continued success.”
